- 1953 M38A1 This is my first military vehicle.
When we found it in the Auto Trader, it was a mess, and we weren’t even sure it was a
military jeep. The previous owner had tried to make it into a Wrangler style jeep by
attempting to remove, or hide all of the military features. He even went to the extreme of
filling the slave cable hole up with body filler, and then welded a piece of sheetmetal
over it. It has come a long way in the first year we have had, and can only expect it to
get better in the future.
